DHELKAYA HEALTH
Brand development for a regional health service, uniting its future and connecting its community.
When three legacy services—Castlemaine Health, Maldon Hospital and CHIRP—came together, a new identity was needed to unify the past, present and future of health in Mount Alexander Shire.

We are healthier together
Over 18 months, working under the Storyland banner, we led the brand strategy, naming and rollout for the newly formed regional health service: Dhelkaya Health. Rooted in Country, shaped by community, and designed for clarity and connection, the brand reflects a commitment to local care with a strong, shared identity.
The identity avoids the tired visual tropes of hospitals and health services. Instead, it draws inspiration from the local terrain—grounded, warm and unmistakably regional—anchored by a distinctive marque built to stand proud for generations.
Bringing the Brand to Life
From stationery to signage, t-shirts to tote bags, Storyland rolled out a comprehensive suite of collateral for Dhelkaya Health. Whether it’s a pull-up banner at a community event or a printed handbook in a clinic waiting room, every touchpoint speaks the same visual language—clear, confident and unmistakably Dhelkaya.
A digital home for health
The Dhelkaya Health website is a central hub for the organisation and the broader Mount Alexander community.
Designed with the same clarity and warmth as the brand itself, the site brings together essential resources—fact sheets, service directories, downloads and news—into one accessible platform. For staff, it’s a go-to operational tool. For the public, it’s a trusted source of information. Every page reflects the visual identity and tone of the brand, ensuring a seamless experience both online and offline.
Guidelines with Purpose
To ensure consistency long after launch, we developed an extensive set of brand guidelines covering everything from logo application and colour use to photography, layout and tone of voice. These guidelines empower the internal team—and any external partners—to create communications that are on-brand, every time. Because a strong brand isn’t just how it looks, it’s how it speaks, acts and shows up in the world.
